<image:caption>Dean completed his Bachelors of Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation at Simon Fraser University in 2010. He then went on to work as a Kinesiologist for two years with people who suffered work or motor vehicle accidents at a large clinic in the Lower Mainland. He soon after moved to Australia where he completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney in 2014. Drawn to the sunshine, he moved to the Gold Coast where one year turned into six. He has since moved back to the Lower Mainland to be closer to family and friends. Over those six years, Dean worked in a thriving private practice, treating a variety of clients from athletes to weekend warriors to non-sporting populations in a one-on-one setting. He likes working with clients who have had ongoing issues for years and tries to get down to the root cause of their issue as well as those trying to prevent injury in the first place. He specializes in headaches and migraines and helped establish the Gold Coast Headache Clinic using a technique called the ‘Watson Headache Approach’ and has completed both level 1 and level 2. He can also treat vestibular conditions such as vertigo. He has worked with post-op recovery as well as those suffering from whiplash (ICBC). Dean is very passionate about physiotherapy and is always excited to progress his skills as well as pass this knowledge onto others, whether it is students, new graduates or the general public. He uses a combination of manual and exercise therapy, individualized to each client, to help get them back to what they want and love to do. Dean is well trained in dry needling. He worked alongside a sports physiotherapist for the duration of his time in Australia, learning as much as he could in his weekly professional development sessions. Dean has always been active, growing up snowboarding in the winter and mountain biking & playing tennis in the summer amongst other activities. He took up surfing while in Australia and generally just loves getting outside and being active. Dean and his fiancé, Lindsey, spent the last three months of his time in Australia roadtripping and camping from one coast to the other before finally moving back to Canada.</image:caption>

<image:title>Sydney Smith, RMT - Sydney Smith, RMT</image:title>
<image:caption>Sydney is a graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in 2013. Since then Sydney has learned she like to focus on the whole body in practice. She maintains a full and fulfilling practice in Maple Ridge, BC. Sydney loves to treat every body- as we are all so unique. She finds that by looking at the whole person, and whole body, her patients have fantastic results. A part that is so often missed is the mental aspect that may be triggering a lot of chronic pain and dysfunction. When she is able to find the true root of the issue, whether it is additional life stress, or a functional movement pattern dysfunction, she finds that she assesses on each treatment what and how the tissue is at that time. She meets you where you and your body is at, and works forward from there for your health journey. With every massage, she finds that tissue pressure will change due to what is going on in everyone's lives at the time. Ultimately, her goal is to get and keep people functioning at their best level. Sydney understands that everyone is multifactorial and we all do not fit into the same box. Patients often describe Sydney as intuitive, and will state that "her hands just went to a spot immediately that I didn't know was the problem". Others have said that "she sees me as an entire person and looks at everything that I love and makes each treatment effective for my needs at the time". Outside of work, Sydney loves being in nature, hiking and walking with her dog, Khloe, as well as yoga practice and dancing. On top of working as an RMT, she has completed her yoga teacher training, and has completed further studies in functional movements courses.</image:caption>

<image:title>Jordana Robinson, MPT - Jordana Robinson- Physiotherapist</image:title>
<image:caption>Jordana earned her Master’s in Physiotherapy from Leeds Beckett University in 2021. Before pursuing her career in healthcare, she competed as an elite-level gymnast until an injury ended her time in the sport. Nearly two years of physiotherapy during her recovery sparked her passion for the profession, inspired by the dedication and expertise of her physiotherapist. Today, Jordana remains active as an avid runner, flag football player, and strength training enthusiast, and she enjoys regular walks with her dog, Peanut. She graduated from the University of Alberta in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. During her undergraduate studies, she gained hands-on experience working with the university’s varsity women’s soccer team and a local minor midget AA hockey team. Following graduation, she spent two seasons with the Langley Rams and worked as a Kinesiologist at two multidisciplinary clinics, focusing primarily on ICBC clients. Jordana is deeply passionate about sports rehabilitation and athlete performance. She has been part of the Langley Trappers for three seasons and the Coquitlam Sr. A Adanacs for two seasons, where she emphasizes the importance of athletes understanding their bodies—knowing when to push through an injury during the season and when rest is essential. She also prioritizes effective pre-season training to help prevent avoidable injuries. In addition to her sports work, Jordana is committed to guiding ICBC clients through recovery after motor vehicle accidents and supporting the general population with a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns.</image:caption>
